LONG BEACH, Calif. - Washington State University senior Tiara Pittman was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week for her performance against Arizona State and Arizona.  A forward from Spokane, Wash., Pittman netted two goals, including a game-winner, to lead the Cougars (12-6-3, 6-3-1 Pac-12) to a pair of victories.  At Arizona State, Friday, Washington State fell behind a goal in the second half after neither team found the net in the first 45 minutes.  Read more

Shadow congratulates 2008 alumna Marissa Mykines on her selection as University of Illinois Athlete of the Week for October 27, 2011.  Marissa sparked offensive play with goals in the Fighting Illini 3-0 shutout over Northwestern University and 3-1 victory over University of Nebraska.  Off the field, Marissa was named to the Academic All-Big Ten her sophomore and junior years.  Watch video
